Four pacing levels — off, safe, balanced and fast — scale these caps and vary the gap between messages, including occasional longer pauses, so a campaign does not send with machine regularity.

Broadcast lists, the API, or Pingly
WhatsApp’s own broadcast list is free and fine for a few hundred saved contacts. The official API removes that ceiling but expects you to build around it. This is what differs in practice.

Send from your own number, or the official API
WhatsApp Direct links a number by QR, the same way WhatsApp Web does — no Business API, no approval wait, no per-message fee. It is the right choice for smaller lists and for testing whether broadcasting works for your business at all.
For higher volume, connect your own Meta Cloud API account and Meta bills you directly at their published rates, with no reseller markup in between. Both run in the same inbox, and a campaign can pick which number sends it.
What it costs
Pingly starts at ₹999 a month plus GST, with a free 14-day trial and 20% off annual billing. Broadcasts from your own number carry no per-message fee at all.
On the official Cloud API, Meta bills you directly and we add nothing: for India that is ₹0.8631 per marketing message and ₹0.115 per utility message from 1 October 2026. A thousand marketing messages is about ₹863 of Meta’s charges, whoever you send them through — so the only honest question is what the software around them costs.
Questions people ask before starting
Will my number get banned for sending bulk WhatsApp messages?
It can, and no tool can promise otherwise — WhatsApp bans numbers for being reported and for sending faster than a person could. What Pingly does is remove the two commonest causes: it blocks bulk sending entirely for a new number’s first four days, then raises the daily cap gradually, and it varies the gap between messages instead of sending at machine speed. The rest is on your list: message people who expect to hear from you, and give them a way to stop.
How many WhatsApp messages can I send in a day?
On your own number, Pingly allows 15 a day in the first week, rising to 1,000 a day once the number is over two months old. On the official Cloud API the limit is Meta’s messaging tier for your account, which starts at 1,000 unique customers in 24 hours and rises with your quality rating.
Can I send bulk WhatsApp messages from an Excel file?

Do I need the WhatsApp Business API?
Not to start. You can link the number you already use by scanning a QR code, the same way WhatsApp Web works, and send from it. Move to the official Cloud API when you need higher volume or template messages to people who have not written to you recently — both run side by side in Pingly.
Can I keep using WhatsApp on my phone?
Yes. On the QR connection your phone stays in charge, and anything you send from the phone appears in Pingly. On the official Cloud API, Meta’s Coexistence lets the WhatsApp Business app on your phone and the API work on the same number.
